Sessions generally are 1-2 hours depending upon the type of shoot and the number of people in your group. Outdoor shoots can be at a variety of locations in your area. If you prefer a more traditional type environment, or if weather becomes an issue, a garage or rec room can be quickly turned into a studio with professional lights and a backdrop. A studio shoot can be especially helpful with small children.
